November 14, 2008 — juttaI received this in an e-mail. It is just too funny to not share with you. It came with the title “Obama’s family members (mifa) are already heading to the White House for a visit.” It is especially funny when you know Africa and how typical this way of traveling and this understanding of family is here.
Ich habe dieses Foto per e-mail geschickt bekommen. Es ist so witzig, dass ich es unbedingt mit euch teilen muss. Der Fototitel ist “Obamas Familienmitglieder sind bereits unterwegs zu einem Besuch im Weißen Haus”. Das ist vor allem so witzig, wenn man Afrika kennt, und weiß wie typisch diese Art zu reisen und das Familienverständnis hier ist.
I was not able to establish where the photo originally came from, probably from Swagster.com, but I could not find it there.
Ich konnte nicht genau eruieren woher das Foto ursprünglich kam. Wahrscheinlich von Swagster.com, aber ich konnte es dort nicht finden.
